How to know if Dysport is right for you

People use Dysport to treat facial wrinkles that caused by muscle action on their faces. If you're constantly frowning or squinting, wrinkles will eventually form on your skin and become permanent (static) wrinkles. If you're just beginning to see lines and wrinkles on your forehead or around your eyes, it may be a good time to investigate treatment with Dysport.

How Dysport works

Dysport is a neuro-muscular wrinkle blocker. The composition of Dysport includes a miniscule amount of the botulinum toxin. When injected, the product inhibits the release of acetylcholine, a process that effectively blocks the contraction of facial muscles in localized areas. As those small facial muscles relax in the days following your treatment, lines and wrinkles gradually flatten out and become unnoticeable. Injections are relatively comfortable; if necessary, a numbing cream can be used, but most treatments do not require it.
