Latisse

Latisse is a special eyelash enhancement drug that makes a person’s eyelashes grow thicker, darker and latisse_njlonger. When you brush Latisse on the base of your upper eyelashes it causes them to eventually grow, changing your appearance dramatically.

Latisse was granted FDA clearance last year and now many women are enjoying the benefits of enhanced eyelashes.

How to know if you're a candidate for Latisse

Latisse is offered by prescription only for those who experience hypotrichosis—a condition of inadequate eyelashes. If you’re dissatisfied with the length and fullness of your lashes and you don’t have any associated allergies, Latisse may be an option for you. Tell your doctor if you have a history of eye-related medical problems.

How Latisse works to grow eyelashes

During clinical research with Latisse, patients demonstrated on average, a 25 percent increase in length, an 18 percent change in color, and a more than 100 percent increase in fullness. To work, the drug keeps eyelashes in a perpetual growth phase.

Most people begin with a 1-month supply and brush it on once daily like eyeliner. After approximately 30 days, your lashes will begin to show enhanced growth and color. Know that you must keep using Latisse if you don’t want your lashes to return to their original state.
