During this procedure, the surgeon makes very small incisions and saturates the targeted fat with a special solution that contains lidocaine, a local anesthetic. Using a very small tube called a cannula, the fat is dislodged and removed with suction. 

After liposuction, it is common to experience some swelling and bruising, but once these effects begin to subside within the first few weeks during the liposuction recovery period, you'll be able to appreciate your slimmer, shapelier neck.
